Climb for the Cure helps support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and is quickly approaching! This yearly event is taking place Saturday, February 5, 2011. The General Climb is from 9 a.m. to noon at the IDS building downtown Minneapolis. Capernaum was able to have a great team of climbers the past two years, and we plan to have a team participate again this year!
Capernaum partnering with St. Catherine’s University on student research project! Paula R., a Capernaum OT and professor at St. Catherine’s University, is working with a student on her thesis project on parental stress in the NICU. The study will be a retrospective analysis of the parent’s stress levels of parents who have had a child in the NICU. We are looking for participants between the ages of 18 and 55 years who have had a child born at 24-35 weeks gestation and spent at least 2 weeks in a level III NICU within the past 12 years. The Pancake Fundraiser for Brenda K and family was a big success! Capernaum staff were "serving it up" at the Living Waters Lutheran Church! There were many pancakes flipped, sausage and bacon offered and fun had by all who participated! Thank you to everyone who gave of there dollars, time, and talents!
