PINECONE BIRD FEEDER
Supplies
Large pine cone
Wire
Beef suet or peanut butter
Bird Seed
Instructions
1. Tie a piece of wire around a large pine cone so the wire is held between the pieces of bark on the cone. Leave long ends to attach to a tree.
2. Put a piece of beef suet through a food grinder.
3. Heat ground suet in over a medium flame until melted.
4. Let the suet cool.
5. Mash the seeds into the suet and spread it on the cone.
6. If you do not want to use suet, mash the sunflower seeds in peanut butter.
7. Hang the cone on a tree using the wire.
