SUPERFLEX! What is it and how does it help my child be a social thinker???

SUPERFLEX is a program that has been designed by Michelle Garcia Winner and Think Social Publishing, Inc.  It helps kids to be “social thinkers” by teaching them about Superflex.  Superflex is a super hero who has a brain sensor that helps kids be flexible, and a cape of strategies to defeat the team of Unthinkables.  The team of Unthinkables are villains that interfere with peoples’ ability to interact well with others.  Some Unthinkable villains include:
- ROCK BRAIN makes people get stuck on their ideas!
- GLASSMAN makes people have huge upset reactions!
- BRAIN EATER distracts people. 
The Superflex program is a fun and engaging way to help kids identify the areas of socialization that are important, and where they may have trouble.  It provides them with tools to make changes in their behavior so as to be more effective when playing with friends, cooperating, and using good manners!
