We are packing up our suitcases (again!) and heading back to Bulgaria next week! This time it will be a smaller team traveling, including Emily (speech therapist at Capernaum-New Hope), Marissa (speech therapist at Capernaum-New Hope) and Bonna (physical therapist and co-owner of Capernaum Pediatric Therapy). The missionaries we worked with previously are sponsoring a Down Syndrome Association conference, and we will be presenting on a variety of speech and language topics and spreading a message of inclusion, love, hope, and encouragement. The conference will be on March 21st (3.21), which is also World Down Syndrome Day. We have a lot of great information to share with families, teachers, and doctors in Bulgaria and are so excited for this opportunity. And we couldn't travel all the way to Bulgaria and not play with any kids, so we'll also be squeezing in as many evaluations as we can!
Your prayers and support guided us through a very successful trip to Bulgaria in October, and we would very much appreciate your prayers again. We are praying for safe travels, that the information we present on will be well-received and beneficial to the families and children we serve, and that our evaluations will be helpful in making a difference in the families' lives.
