- You can use painters tape or electrical tape (for more stretch).
- You can make tape trails on the dining room table, floor, wall, or desk.
- Challenge your child to peel the tape!
Rubber bands on a can!
- Colored rubber bands are more eye-catching for children.
- Choose a soup can, water bottle, or cylindrical container.
- Challenge your child to put as many as he/she can before a timer goes off!
Card sorting!
- Cut an opening in the top of an oatmeal container. It needs to be big enough for a playing card to slide through.
- Your child might have different sorting ideas. Let them take the lead and explore!
- Draw the shapes on a Post-It note and place it on the container.
