Casper the Therapy Dog

Children learn language through experiences. Blindness affects the way a child experiences the world, and children who are blind need to hear, touch, smell, and taste things in order to learn about the world. Casper, the therapy dog, recently helped us provide a very meaningful experience for a very special client at our Speech and Feeding Clinic in Richfield. Thanks to Casper, this little girl, who is blind, was able to meet an animal for the first time!
