CHRISTMAS GIVING!
-The girls at Capernaum Place- Edina had an opportunity to participate in the “Warm Hands, Warm Hearts” program, and purchased a winter coat, hat, and mittens for an 8-year-old girl! Now that the cold weather is upon us, this gift is truly a blessing for this little girl!
-Capernaum is also participating in “Adopt a Family” for Christmas again this year. In the past several years, Capernaum has adopted a family in need by buying gifts for them that they otherwise could not afford.
CAPERNAUM NOW HAS AN ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONAL (ATP), Kristi Delarwelle!! An ATP is a service provider who analyzes and provides training in the use of selected equipment; such as wheelchairs, walkers, standers, and environmental modifications. She analyzes the needs of children with disabilities, assists with equipment selection, works with a vendor to order the equipment, and provides instructional training.
