The mission of Capernaum is to provide, with integrity, professional, caring, and cost-effective pediatric services, so as to help the child reach his/her full potential. Capernaum provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to children with a wide range of developmental needs.

Healthy Snacks!


These are some key foods to get the protein, fiber, and other essentials into a child’s diet!  Check out www.parents.com to explain the benefits to each of these foods!

1. White Cheeses
2. Natural Peanut Butter
3. Healthy baked goods (ie. banana bread, zucchini muffins, and carrot bars)
4. Whole grain cereal, waffles, and oatmeal (check fiber grams….as you may be surprised which cereals are high in fiber)
5. Low fat yogurt or frozen yogurt bars
6. Eggs (Consider using Egg Beaters for all the benefits without the cholesterol!)
7. Sweet potatoes
8. Hummus
9. Whole wheat noodles
10. Tomatoes or homemade tomato sauces
11. Smoothies (powders can be added to increase protein and fiber)
12. Snack mixes (eg. combo of nuts, pretzels, whole grain cereal, banana chips, and popcorn)
13. Low fat ham
14. Raisins and prunes
15. Apples, berries, pears
